Prom '09

Well, Prom was a blast! It was a long day though. I had to get up early and go to Jasper with my mom and get my jewelry. Then we came home grabbed something to eat. Then did my hair and make up. Devin came over around 2:30 to pick me up. We got pictures at my house went to see my dad. Then we went to see his parents. We had so much fun! Can't wait til next year...

Prom!

Well it begins. Prom is tomorrow. The prom steering committee is decorating all day today. I am staying after school today to help out a little bit, Mrs. Fiscus recruited me. We're going to be busy getting ready for the big day tomorrow. I
have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. I have to get up early, make sure the dress fits okay. Then go get my jewelry, and get my hair done. After that I will probably hang around the house with my mom until time for Devin to come get me and then we're going back to his house for pictures. Then we're headed to the school!! And the fun begins! : ) It's going to be a blast.

Easter Weekend

Well we had a three day weekend because of Good Friday. I had alot of fun on our short little break. Lets see, Thursday night I went and got my nails done, because prom is coming up soon!! Then Friday we got up early and went to Princeton to pick up floor tiles, because we are redoing our kitchen floor. Then we went to Evansville for a little bit, but decided to go home a little early because it was getting ready to storm. So we went home and worked on the kitchen floor. Exciting!! It looks so much better now!! Then on Saturday, i got up and went to work from 8 to 4... Then i came home and my boyfriend, Devin came over and hung out for awhile. Then on Sunday, we all got up early at 4:30, and we went to sunrise service. Then after the service the men cooked a breakfast. After the church services were over we went to one of my grandparents houses to eat lunch. Then after we ate and hung out there for awhile we went to my other grandparents house and ate supper and played games. We had alot of fun. I love spending time with all of my family, we have fun and act silly. And that was my Easter Weekend, it was fun.

Summer break is approaching!!

Well, summer is approaching. We have a little over a month left of school. I CAN'T WAIT!! I don't have any plans yet, but I am going to be working a lot more. I plan on joining marching band this year. I've always wanted to do it, and this will be my last chance. So I figured I need to take it, I don't want to have any regrets. I'm pretty excited about that. This is going to be my last summer break while I'm still in high school, it's so sad. I'm looking forward to being able to go camping for more than one night at a time, and spending the day with my friends.

My Weekend.

well so my weekend has been extremely boring. Friday when we got out of school i had to go to work from 5 to 8. Then today i had to work all day 8 to 4, which takes up my whole day. I was supposed to hang out with Devin tonight but that isn't going to happen cause i'm sick so i'm stuck staying at home. tomorrow i have to go to chuch, then to work and then back to church. I hope nixt weekend is alot better.

Our Motivational Speaker

Well we had a motivational speaker yesterday. I really enjoyed it. He got his point across but at the same time he kept our attention. He was funny too.It proves that anyone can change. I think that it was something we all needed to hear. I was disappointed that I didn't get to come back that night to hear him talk again, but I had to go to Evansville. The band was good too. I think it's great that he is going to be working with us in the future.

My Spring Break

Well Spring Break is over. I had a lot of fun. I spent time with my friends, and made some new ones. I went to my boyfriends house a few times, out to eat with the girls, and to a concert at my church. I only worked a couple of days, which disappointed me, because I asked for more hours, but that's okay. :) I went to Vincennes with my parents and got to visit some old friends. We spent pretty much the whole day with them. It was sad when we had to say goodbye. I only have one more Spring Break left so I hope it's a good one!

Yesterday

So Mondays are not my favorite day of the week but yesterday was okay. I was supposed to ho on the to dill a mockingbird trip but I had to choose between that and the USI trip. So I chose not to go.

Our Unexpected Break

Well we got a little bit of a break from school. Almost two whole weeks off! Although it sounds like it would be a blast it was not that great. I actually would have rather been in school with my friends. But instead I was stuck in the house for almost 5 days straight. I was miserable. I got so sick of sitting around the house with nothing to do. My car was buried in the ice and snow until I finally got my dad to help me get it out and then we got stuck in the yard. But over all I needed the break from my classes.
